About US
With a population of around 136,000, 55% are Black, Savannah is a city of neighborhoods. Often our African-American history has been a side-bar in the in the telling of the story of Savannah. Many visitors become familiar with the Historic District; and Black history can be found in all areas of the city since the 1750s. US connects you with OUR PAST, OUR PRESENT and ultimately OUR FUTURE. It is time to focus on US and help our community to continue to thrive.
